This years 2010 Jamboree will take place on March 31st and the regular season will begin early April. Playoffs will conclude prior to High School Final Exams.
Registration is through participating teams. Please refer to Boundary Designations per Boundary Map on this website and then reference the contacts as listed on each team’s webpage.
To summarize the following items at this years AGM….
- We have increased the size of the Boundaries for the Calgary Broncos to include the Golden Hawks area. Those players who have played Bantam for the Golden Hawks will now have to play for the Broncos. Those players currently training with other teams will now have to go back to the Broncos. If those players are looking for a release from the Broncos they will now have to follow normal protocol to negotiate their release with the team in question.
- With the Okotoks franchise folding, those perspective Okotoks Midget players will only be allowed to play with other rural teams.
- Those players who live in a rural area and who have already played Bantam for a Calgary organization in 2009 will be permitted to continue on to Midget Football with that team for 2010. Those players who are in their second year of Midget and live rural can continue on and play with their teams.
- John Dewitt to lead a competition committee for the 2011 season.
